The Currant Bush and Continuing in Patience

In Elder Takis's farewell talk in Sacrament Meeting, he referenced a few stories and talks that had great impact on him the last few months. We're putting them here so you can absorb the full messages.

Here is the story of Hugh B. Brown and the currant bush that has come to mean so much.

This is the full talk by Hyrum W. Smith (that included a re-telling of the story of the currant bush) that Elder Takis's brother and mother were listening to when he walked in the house and heard about Brown and the bush.

And here is the talk "Continue in Patience" by Elder Uchtdorf that Elder Takis referenced.
